ASYCD WINTER COLLECTION 2024
This is our 4th digital art collection and definitely our best effort at maximizing creativity with the aid of AI.
It's a combination of ultra-saturated, surreal and whimsical artworks that encapsulate our style in 7 artworks.
We have improved so much from our original work. Really diving deep into the world of digital art and art as a whole. Graphic design and digital art were our initial focus and recurring interest but this collection marks both the end of this chapter and the beginning of the next.
MEANINGFUL ABSTRACTION
We wanted to have artworks that were interesting, unique and meaningful all at the same time. It is easy to make it too abstract or too literal but we were aiming for the perfect balance.
“FEAR”
Fear is something we all feel. It is unavoidable and it is one of the worst feelings we can experience. It is different for all of us but some fears are common to most of us.
The fear of death or other tragedy is up there.
If you had to describe the feeling and visualize it, what would it look like?
This artwork features dark mould-like blots similar to blots of darkness that sometimes parade our thoughts. Generally, spiky things are more threatening and disturbing to us so the patterns also have horizontal spikes to magnify the feeling.
ACCEPTANCE
The art space is very much gatekept and people only like certain pieces or artists. Instead of trying to cater to those people, we decided to hone in on what we understand Combining our experience, style and interests into 7 distinct artworks. The perfect storm!!
“CHROMIUM STORM V2”
Exploration is everything to us. We want to explore the true depths of our craft which is creating art and building innovative software. This artwork was more stumbled upon then purposefully created.
This cosmic piece is a testament our dedication to exploration maybe a visual representation of what we have discovered along this journey.
THE UNKNOWN AND THE WEIRD
Nothing really makes sense if you think about it. Some things are just weird and unexplainable and so is “MOUTHY”.
“MOUTHY”
This artwork is the weirdness that we have always aspired to achieve but we have a long way to go. It can be somewhat distracting to our other qualities when we put things like this out. It has to be done though!
ENCRYPTED ON THE BLOCKCHAIN
This collection was first to be partially encrypted using blockchain technology. We have always been admirers of the technology and we hope that this is only the start of our usage.
